Yesterday I went on a steam train with Mum, Dad, Grandma and auntie Maggi. Santa was on the train, and he gave me a car, with a bear, a Christmas tree and a scared person. He also gave me some animals. Then we had lunch in the pub. When it was time to go I gave Auntie Maggi an extra big hug to take home for Uncle Chris because he's poorly.
Went to Nottingham so that I could play with Ellie. Me and Ellie decorated lots of little cakes. JK came to see me, and then we went to Taz & Helen's house. We hadn't told JK, but he was having a birthday party there. It was a surprise!
Today Dad moved shelves in the playroom and me & Mum put lots of toys and books on shelves. We watched a film called Nightmare Before Christmas. Then Mum made me a playhouse out of empty boxes. It's got windows and a chimney!

It was my birthday the other day. I had a party and invited Ben and Peter and Daniel and the children in my fruit group. Rachael from school came. They brought presents and we played pass the parcel. We had pizza and garlic bread and biscuits for a birthday tea. Then we had fruit salad and cream. There was a big cake with four candles on. Some of the grown-ups thought that was very funny and started talking about handles for forks. I blew the candles out and made a birthday wish.
I got lots of lovely presents. I got a bath toy and cars and a train and a digger and a lorry and a game. I also got a colouring book with letters and numbers in and a smart shirt and a bag of letters and some story books. Nana sent me breakfast for my birthday! It wasn't really breakfast, though, just a breakfast box with my presents in. Mum and Dad gave me a guitar. It's Douglas-sized and I can play it really well!
I'm four now. I'm going to be four for a very long time and then I will be five!

I go to school now. Not nursery, the nursery class. I wear school clothes and have to remember to take my purse and water bottle every day. I have breakfast and lunch at school. I sign myself into breakfast club. I write my name on the list.
At school I am in the strawberry fruit group. We sit together at snack time. We have fruit and milk. Sometimes I play outside or in the roleplay corner. I made sweeties and when I ate them I got a blue tongue! I made a Diwali card and Miss Peak lit candles. Pippa Panda has lots of rules like you must listen and you must do what you are told straight away. I have lots of friends at school and sometimes I see Daniel walking home.

I didn't go to nursery yesterday. I played and watched Misty Island Rescue in the morning, then after lunch Nana took me to school. Two children cried because they didn't want their mums to leave, but I didn't. I knew I'd see my mum and dad later, and I'd be able to tell them about my day at school.
I had a lot of fun at school, and I got a sticker for being a good boy. Nana took me home afterwards, and Auntie Cath was there. Then mum and dad came home, and I told them all about my first day at school and showed them my sticker.

I found a hedgehog and a spider in my bedroom this morning, then we went to the library where a nice lady read stories about a spider and a snake. I made a very sparkly snake, and dad borrowed a Thomas the Tank Engine film and a book with lots of maps. We went to the museum. We saw the Spitfire, animals and a scary statue. We played a game, then we went to Tesco for lunch. I fell over and my nose started to bleed, but dad gave me lots of cuddles until I felt better. After lunch I saw two funny ponies. I stroked them and they were very soft.
